What was your favorite regular season game as a Chiefs fan?

For me it was probably the Duane Rudd helmet throw. That season was a wild ride but that solidified it's not over till it's over.

Yeah, the weird weather games are always fun. Another great one is the "I think I'm a snow game guy" game against the Broncos in 2019.

Recent memory was Kelce killing off the Chargers in OT with the walk off TD,

The ref running a pick on Tim Brown as James Hasty scored on a pick six in OT to win the game was pretty sweet.

T Vanover returns a punt in OT to win and cover vs. SD.

I was at all of these games.

P.S. The Vanover return game was the night where they set up a sobriety checkpoint on I-435 and traffic was back up for hours.

Even Kelce was shocked he scored that TD in OT last year against the Chargers.

And really, we had no business winning that game. But thanks to Staley thinking he was smarter than he really was, we ended up with another game of the year candidate.

That's a good one. There's a lot of good ones from the Vermeil era for me personally. Plenty from the Marty days as well. Here are a couple personal favorites:

1. October 31, 1999: Chiefs beat Chargers 34-0 on Halloween. I was at this game as well. It's also known as the Brandsmart game since they had a deal where any purchase over $399 that week would be refunded if the Chiefs shut the Chargers out (according to what I've read). The Chargers had the ball at the Chiefs 1 yard line at the end of the game. Harbaugh tried a QB sneak and didn't make it. The crowd was super into it considering it was a 34-0 game late in the 4th quarter.

2. October 10th, 1999: Chiefs beat the Patriots 16-14 on a missed chip shot at the buzzer by a young Adam Vinatieri. When I say chip shot, we're talking a 32 yarder. It happened in my end zone in section 110. We all thought we lost but...he missed it somehow and the place went nuts.

3. November 23, 2006: Chiefs beat Denver 19-10 on Thanskgiving at Arrowhead. I was at this game as well. It was just an old fashioned ass beating. We ran LJ down their pussy throats and kicked a bunch of field goals.

That's a good list. I also really enjoyed the Ravens game that Dante Hall won for us. The one where Ray Lewis got pissed because the Chiefs o-line and Richardson were owning him.

There's a lot of good ones on this list, lots of fond memories.

But I'll say Mahomes abusing the Steelers early in his rookie season. They'd been physically crushing us for years, and to me, this game told me for sure that Mahomes was special and that all of those years of frustration were over.

We were now going to be the bullies.

It was glorious, and far more than just a random September football game.

1. Grbac to Rison @ raidernation.

2. Seeing the whole team come together to kick the ass of the 49ers with Montana at the helm.

There have been so many..

I really remember well the 1986 season. The Chiefs offense was kinda good. Special teams were unreal. Defense was solid. Kenney replaced Blackledge for the Chargers home game and they won a real high scoring. 46-45 (or something). I was at that game.

And then they went on to win 3 or 4 straight before losing 3 straight. Then, at home beat the living shit out of Denver. ( i was at that game).

Then it got kinda magical: Down 16-0 in San Diego, Chiefs score 24 in the 2nd half to eek out a 24-23 victory. I think Henry Marshall had a huge late reception to seal it. Chiefs are 9-6. Have to win the last game on the road to secure a playoff spot.

And then the game at PITT. Chiefs offense was horrible. But the ST's put up all the points on a fumble reocovery in the EZ, a 97 yard KO return and 3 FG's.

The playoff game vs the JETS sucked. But the journey that year was pretty ****ing amazing.
