This really is for the best for him, though. There's some talent there and he demonstrated it at times in Jacksonville. Meyer mind-****ed better players than Shenault so getting clear of that situation can only help.

Moore is a great player but Anderson's getting up there a tick. And the Panthers were able to put Curtis Samuel to really good use when he was healthy out there.

If Shenault could slot into a similar role, he could potentially do some damage.
The biggest question mark for Shenault, IMO, is the Carolina QB position.

If he gets up to speed, Baker will get him some action. He's a poor man's Philip Rivers like that.

Yeah I agree. Baker was playing hurt last year, but among the mid 2nd tier QBS I' take him over quite a few others. He's certainly better than Sam Darnold or Trevor Lawrence at this point. Although I consider those two in the lower 3rd tier.
