It wasn't Hewbuht's fauwt!

It was Evwett!!!!

Waaaaaaaah!

Anybody else a little bit, "Really?" after hearing every last person and their mother blame the Chargers' pick 6 ENTIRELY on the receiver?

Ball shouldn't have been thrown. Herbert should have known Everett was trying to come out of the game. Maybe you shouldn't have run so much unnecessary hurry-up offense because you can get burned in situations like this? Jaylen Watson just made a great play?

All of these are contributing factors to the pick 6. But all they can focus on is trashing Everett so their precious Herpderp doesn't have any shit on his face. Gotta keep their perfect little angel clean! It's never his fault, after all!

Nope - it couldn't have gone either way. He didn't have control of the ball (hand under the ball) before it hit the ground. That was an easy call, and the Prime NFL Rules Expert called it immediately last night when they asked him to comment.

I didn't think he did either but I have seen worse get called a catch.

Brandon Staley needs to get slapped to hell and back with a fine. He was bitching about the refs in his press conference. Specifically, he thought the DPI on the Mahomes non-INT should have been called as OPI. He was quite a brittle bitch when he had to talk about how his team ****ed up so many INTs instead of saying, "That's on us" like you're supposed to.

As the pass rusher was diving, it looked like Wylie was falling back with his jersey clumped in his hand, pulling the pass rusher down into Mahomes.

On closer review, it looked more like the grasped while standing, then let go and the dive was entirely volitional. But the refs didn't get closer review.

If it were Brady throwing to that ****ing lacrosse player, then it would’ve been called a catch for sure

My favorite are the opposing fans who every single week complain about Mahomes getting lucky with interceptions negated by penalties on an offsides free play. It never fails. “Mahomes should have thrown four interceptions if no t for refs bailing him out!”

There are always just as many throws that should have been TDs.

And Herbert should have been flagged for grounding in the end zone.

I blame their coach tbh. Why are you running a hurry up there. That coaches situational awareness is garbage. Score that TD and we probably lose, so instead of taking it slow and getting the right play and personnel out there, let’s do a hurry up with tired ass receivers lol

And the play right before the Jones sack - in what !@#$ing world was that not intentional grounding? Did they say anything about that on the broadcast? I was just dumbfounded - that sure looked textbook from my chair.

The refs were absolutely not favoring the Chiefs last night.

Exactly! It was between the Tackles and ball did not cross the LOS. I was like WTF?

Receiver in the vicinity, ball tipped.
