Never had one, rarely get the flu and it's never been more than the sniffles when I do.

I typically don't get one just because I seldom get the flu. But if it's right in front of me I won't turn it down. I just went in for a routine checkup a couple of weeks ago and they asked if I wanted a flu shot while I was there. Sure.

And I have not had the flu since.

I got the flu sometime in the 1990s and i've never been so miserable.

Slept for 2 days straight, felt a bit better and came downstairs to the land of the living. The living wore me out after about an hour, so I went back upstairs, but took a 10 minute nap halfway up the stairs.

After 5 days, I felt good enough to go back to work. By 2:00, I was passed out in my chair. Everyone told me to go home. Went home for another 3 days.

Now, I always get the flu shot.

Haven't had one in 20+ years. The sickest I've ever been in my life, minus food poisoning, was every time after I got a titty****ing flu shot four years in a row. My daughter was preemie and they encouraged us to get one when she was a baby back then, but no more and never again.

The flu kicked my ass once about 20 years ago so I've gotten the shot every year since. Even if it is hit and miss.
