Not 3 and it’s still largely due to the perception from last season’s game that they opened as early favorites at all in my view.

That was a bad rep by the right side of the DL in general. Initially Nnadi doesn't get off at the snap either quickly or with any push at all. He does get double teamed again by the C and the RG. And he does eventually split them and at least gets his right hand on Jacobs as he runs by, but he's late to the ball.

Saunders doesn't fare any better, getting pushed back 3 yards from the get go. And he probably had the best opportunity at the snap to make a play, but he just gets driven back by the LG. He needs to keep working on his hand-fighting skills, shed that block and use his agility to fill that hole.

I don’t know about that. Buffalo looks better this year in the eye test. Chiefs are capable of beating anyone, but they need the OL & Mahomes to bring their A game.

Based on the moneyline, Vegas thinks the Chiefs have about a 45.5% chance of winning (seems reasonable to me), which for all practical purposes is indistinguishable from a coin flip. I'm actually going to the game (for the first time in years) so I sure hope we get some Mahomes magic.

Acknowledging that the Bills have been the best team in the league so far (and probably last year as well) does not mean you've thrown in the towel.

You know how it seemed like the Chiefs were always having to play at Pittsburgh most every year? I guess that the Bills are getting that treatment with the scheduling against the Chiefs these days. Look at this

2017 - Bills at Chiefs (divisional rotation)
2018 - Did not play
2019 - Did not play
2020 - Chiefs at Bills (divisional rotation)
2020 - Bills at Chiefs (playoffs, Chiefs higher seed)
2021 - Bills at Chiefs (same-place finishers)
2021- Bills at Chiefs (playoffs, Chiefs higher seed)
2022 - Bills at Chiefs (same-place finishers)

Just the way that the scheduling works out. But it's nice to be on the positive side during a time that these 2 teams are the cream of the crop

On the other hand, playing Brady on the road in 5 of 6, including the SB, was not nice.
