Adams even hesitated for a moment after the guy fell. He could have gone along ways to making it right in the moment by helping the guy up and apologizing, and maybe even making a gesture like game used gloves or something.

We have no idea why he filed a police report. He may have been instructed by the team, the NFL, or an insurance company to file a report. He may not be interested in suing at all. There's dozens of reasons for filing a report that have nothing to do with ambulance chasing.

I have had it a couple of times. Once from a car wreck and once from a collision playing soccer.

Both cases were mild but still hurt like hell.

When I had MRI's on my neck for disk issues the radiologist said she could see evidence of past whiplash.

Any injury even close to effecting the neck should be taken very seriously.

They probably had him do it just for their own liability protections. ESPN as well if his contract include any type of workmen's comp for injuries while working for them.
