I'm not. I'm sure Allen has a couple he got away with. Every QB does. These two guys are always going to flirt with that sort of thing.

Does Allen have none?

So, in other words you're just being a contrarian by throwing out one side of the dropped INT equation and trying to make it sound like a gotcha.

What? No.

My posts are in reference to the posts some have made about how Patrick only has 2 INts while Allen has 4 like that's supposed to mean that Allen is more careless with the football. I don't think that's the case. i think they're about even.

And i don't have to see every pass Allen has made this season to see how many could've been intercepted; I have you fine people for that tedious job.

What I can surmise from the 44 years i have watched the NFL is that all QBs throw some bad balls, some more than others. But these two QBs are at the top of the food chain, with similar styles, so I feel i can safely say that they're about equal when it comes to ball security, regardless of how many actual INTs both have at this exact moment.

I'm not bagging on Pat; it's the style he plays and he's going to get intercepted. It's actually surprising with all the wild ass throwing angles (and some of his riskier decisions) he regularly uses that he hasn't been intercepted more than he has, not just this season but for his career.

But my point was just that if we understand that Pat has thrown some interceptible balls that were just dropped, then he and Allen aren't that far apart so far as ball security goes. It's a wash, imo.
Allen does seem to fumble more often, so I would give Patrick an edge in that spot. That said, it's pretty much a wash and turnovers randomly happen in unexpected ways. See the KC punt return fumble against the Colts or the Bucs' fumble on opening kick return against Chiefs. Stuff like that can happen at any point. If there are some flukey turnover plays, hopefully it favors KC on Sunday.

They're talkin' shit!

Stopped by Chiefs Planet hoping to read a little insight as to what the enemy fans are thinking.

I immediately remembered why I don't go there ever.

That forum is an absolute cesspool. Some of the worst "football discussion" on the internet.

It's weird, because almost everyone who has attended games in KC or hung out with Chiefs fans says they're welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, etc.

Whatever the case may be, the absolute worst of the Chiefs fan base seem to gather on Chiefs Planet. I cannot stress what a garbage den that place is.

Which board?

It would be rich coming from TBD... Two Bills Drive or Traumatic Brain Damage.

The other one.. BillsZone? That one is decent from what I've seen, but still a lot of casual fan talk like every message board out there.

I believe Allen had as many balls go off defenders hands in the Dolphins game and NOT get intercepted as Mahomes has all season.

I'd give Mahomes an edge on ball security, though it's not a huge one. Allen has improved drastically on that since his first few seasons.

I think Mahomes is a bit ahead of Allen in terms of decision making and accuracy in short and intermediate areas against the 2-deep shell, since he has been seeing it longer and has a little better ball placement than Allen.

This…..

And it’s funny that people still worry more about “shoulda, woulda, coulda” turnovers rather than actual turnovers.
