Travis Kelce has a very high football IQ. His chemistry with Mahomes is legendary. He knows how to get open consistently and find the holes in the zone.

If I had to pick a TE to convert to QB, I’d pick Kelce.

He was a QB his freshman and sophomore seasons at Cincinnati as well. I believe he converted to TE his Junior year.

Bills secondary on Sunday

Dane Jackson= 7th round pick and has just returned from a terrible injury

Elam= Rookie who has barely been targeted

Taron Johnson= slot guy

Hamlin= Micah Hyde's backup

Poyer= has been banged up since preseason

Compare this bills secondary to the ones Pat has faced in the last two years!!??..No White or Hyde, plus the big game experience levels are way lower. We'll see what Andy and Pat have in store for them on Sunday.

ok, ok. I apologize for not phrasing it correctly. You are right, he is certainly smart and should go down as the best or certainly top 3 to ever play his position! He can't help the way that he looks just like Reid can't help that he has type II diabetes. They both produce on the field and that's why they are so enduring to fans like us.
Go Chiefs!! Crush the Bills!!!!

This is why I don't like calling out other teams injured players or lack of experience at spots. If we beat the Bills Sunday, of course the media and their fans will harp on what you just pointed out as the main reason for their loss. Let's just line up, man to man, and beat the shit out of them. Who cares who we are playing against, just get the W!!

There are no throw away games in the NFL unless you have locked your seed before the end of the year. Especially against conference opponents.
Agreed. Though i wonder how much of the 'long con' Andy's playing this year. Will he hold back in this game, in consideration of the playoffs? Or will he open up the playbook and give us a fireworks show?

Andy knows this is a marathon, not a sprint, and right now he's got starters and significant players that aren't quite healthy yet. Roll the dice now to win this game, and maybe risk some injuries to those guys, or keep things a little closer to the vest and hold some of those guys back, for the back half of the season and the playoffs.

In short, how much chess is Andy going to play this weekend?

A lot depends on the OL. They have to play a lot better than they did against the Raiders, Chargers, & Colts.

Andy is going to play anyone who is ready to play and figure out the best way he can use those players to beat the Bills. Its that simple. I don't think we hold anything back in games like this. Mahomes isn't going for that shit.

Anyone think Buffalo is going to to keep their cards close to their chest in this game to save for later?

Butker in but Fenton and Cook are out. Reid is not playing Mcduffie unless he bluffing

Quote:
The club has the option of activating rookie cornerback Trent McDuffie from injured reserve but Reid say’s leaning against that move right now.

“I’d probably just rest him up this week,” Reid said of McDuffie, who practiced this week for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 1 against Arizona. “He had a good week of practice but there’s a good chance we’ll rest him up.”
