Allen is 1 out of 4 vs Mahomes. If they lose Sunday, the surprise Eagles will be the east coast darlings

Re: the corners, it’s all about matchups for me.

I’m a little worried about depth - losing a corner in game would be a real problem - but I like the matchup of Josh Williams and Jaylen Watson against Gabriel Davis a lot more than Fenton because they are bigger corners who can run with Davis (who is fast but not a pure burner).

Hopefully McDuffie can play on at least a limited count just so KC has better depth.

Wrong. We now have less experience. Who is taking his place?

I think he’ll be fine in that 4th CB role once McDuffie is 100%.

He’s probably better than most teams have in that spot, but he’s in over his head when he has to cover a WR1.

Man, we're pretty thin on defense right now.

Down two corners.

One LB.

One S.

One DE, and one DT.

That's a lot.

Yep. It's not looking very encouraging. And of course it has to be happening for THIS game.

Chiefs offense is going to have to protect the defense by staying on the field and keeping Josh Allen on the sideline.

Long drives that end in TD’s… slow aggressiveness.

Nothing official yet but Reid doesn't like playing guys right after they come back from injury.

Quote:
The club has the option of activating rookie cornerback Trent McDuffie from injured reserve but Reid say’s leaning against that move right now.

“I’d probably just rest him up this week,” Reid said of McDuffie, who practiced this week for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 1 against Arizona. “He had a good week of practice but there’s a good chance we’ll rest him up.”
