The good news is, I expect the Chiefs to have an offseason like the Bills and Chargers. The draft won't be as deep, and I would expect them to use picks to trade up. There will be some major dead weight to shed this off season and I think Veach will finally be in the position to acquire some bigger name FAs specifically to beat the new lead dog like everyone has done for the Chiefs over the past several years.

Bills fan here chiming in...........

My opinion is these are the 2 best teams in the league and 3rd place isn't even close. It's a shame someone had to lose this game as it lived up to all of the hype it was given.

There's always some loudmouths that like to type but the reality is most Bills fans are huge fans of the Chiefs as well. The general consensus in Buffalo (regardless of what some morons type) is that if we can't win it all then we hope it's you guys.

Allen and Mahomes play their position at a different level than anyone else in the league. No lead is ever safe with them.

These two teams will be on a collision course with each other for the next decade because they're both great organizations from top to bottom. The fact that the QB's are friends off the field just makes this rivalry even better.

Let's hope both teams get and then stay healthy and have a great season. I'm looking forward to the rematch in the playoffs and may the best team win.

This!. When Reid and Mahomes become less arrogant that all they need to win is drop back and pass this team will become even better. For all the talk (and the eye test) that Pacheco is a hard and successful runner when he is given the ball, the fact that he gets so few touches in an offense that clearly has to control the ball on longer drives is beyond me. Pacheco pounds defenses with his style of running and that he only carried the ball twice today when the Chiefs needed to rack up first downs and control the clock makes little sense.

The game was not lost on the final drive with the interception..it was on the two prior drives when they were tied and could only get a field goal after 8 plays that only got 28 yards and when they were up three and went three and out keeping the Bills within a touchdown. There are just too many times when going on a long drive and controlling the game and clock (and keeping the ball away from the other team) is all that is needed to put games away, IMO.

This is not the Chiefs of the last few seasons that had no running game and had to have Mahomes take over games. They realize that with trading Hill and changing their style to ball control and possession receivers they could still have a very good offense. They have a running game (189 yds against the best run defense in the league, the Bucs two weeks ago)that can compliment that but to this point have refused to acknowledge that on the field.

I’m going to say it. The jets beat the breaks off Greenbay today and have been improving week to week. Allen has to face them twice and then the Dolphins again. Provided Tua is healthy

I don’t know how anyone can be drawing any seeding stuff from this lol

Bills can legitimately not lose another game on their schedule but this is the NFL where on any given Sunday the refs can **** you over.

Patriots might not be total pushovers as well. Their QB is a rookie, but he set the yardage record in college last year. Belichick is obviously known for having a disciplined team in general.

Let’s hope that Trent Mcduffie ends up being a good player. We really need help in the secondary. He will always be compared to Elam and right now Elam looks like a real good player for the bills.

Right, but just like us they can also legitimately lose any game from here on. They almost lost to the ravens. And would have if that coach didn’t use the Andy Reid scheme.

I know this is an important win and it hurts me. But this isn’t season ending. Aside from some really dumb mistakes and a missed FG they did way better than I thought.

Mahomes is a God but if this earth is anything to go by? Gods still make mistakes

the bills arent infallible. theyll lose 2-3 more games

He changes everything for them. Rousseau didn’t do much today but Von was so good when it mattered.

Not sure what you think we could do. Like a first rd RT is gonna do any better against an all time HOF pass rusher?

Bills better win the SB bc their team will be a lot different next year. Mitch Morse, Jordan Poyer, Jordan Phillips, Tremaine Edmunds and Rodger Saffold are all FA’s. All 5 of them are starters.

Gabe Davis is also eligible for an extension and will want big money.
