Our WRs next year have a chance to be electric.

Toney
Skyy
Ross
MVS

Odell?
Juju?

God damn Veach just attacks position groups like a HOF GM does.

What he did with the CBs, OL, LBers and WRs in a year and a half is beyond impressive.

Those positions were in terrible shape and now each of those position groups are in the conversation for one of the best in the division and maybe in the conference.

Can bet he is going attack the DL in the same fashion this offseason but it just wasn't his focal point as he sees other needs higher. We will be complete team with DL intact.

I love the youth we have at CB in Mcduffie, Williams, Watson and Sneed. Damn good job by Veach there. For DL let Nnadi go, Saunders needs to stay, extend Jones and sign a damn DE

We all wanted him to do more but he did draft a DE in the first everyone loved the pick of and also added a vet DE and a vet DT.

To be honest, I think the returns of those moves are going to be a lot more noticeable the rest of the year than they have up till this point.

Karlaftis is going to have his breakout game against Tennessee. Mark it down.

I'd be curious to know how he would have handled the D line had we traded Hill early in the off-season. Having the capital and extra resources with all free agents etc available could have seen things play out differently.

I agree. I’d also like to give credit where it’s due and acknowledge that Veach has matured as a GM in his time here and has developed a keen eye for talent and a disciplined approach to roster building.

Veach got us a very promising young DE, a productive vet DE and a space eater at DT that should help our run defense once the coaches move on from Nnadi as the teams primary nose in run defense sets.

He did that while also

Drafting a trio of promising corners
A promising safety
A perfect fit WR for this system
A steal at RB

This rookie class should really start to shine in the following weeks as we get healthier and more experienced.

I’d still rather have Sam Williams than Cook, though.

Shelton will play meaningful minutes for this team down the stretch, mark it down.
