Has almost 100 rushing yds against the jets and 2 interceptions. Currently down against the jets, but that could change.

Allen reminds me of a prime Cam newton. He's physical and isn't afraid to use his body to take punishment. But I can't help but think he'll have a shorter career like cam as a result of it.

Thoughts? (Slow day waiting for the chiefs)

just because Mahomes is the better QB doesn’t mean Allen sucks. He is a great QB. Just not better than Mahomes.

if the NFL did a redraft (think fantasy draft in madden), Allen would and should go #2. he's that good, but it would take a team to go full-reerun to take him #1.

JustRyan- Somewhere there is an old thread here from when Pat got injured in the Cleveland playoff game. Every Bills fan to a “man” said he shouldn’t play the next game (against them) and if he did it just meant the Chiefs coaches weren’t caring about his health. I can only assume you feel just as strongly now that it is your own QB?

Bills fans aren’t a monolith. I often disagree with them.

Agreed. Mahomes is better, but Allen is #2 and I don’t think the gap between him and #3 is very close.

It’s not unusual for a pitcher with a TORN UCL to see a small velocity spike right before the injury. It’s a weird little phenomenon that happens occasionally.

Greg Holland pitched almost the entire 2015 regular season for the Royals with at least a partially torn UCL before it finally let go and he had to get surgery.

How do you expect him to answer that with nothing but smoke and mirrors coming out of Bills camp? The only people who know the real extent of Josh’s injury is him and a Dr most likely. Josh is a bad ass, I hope he’s good to go. I don’t want any excuses when/if we meet them in the playoffs. But asking anyone to go on record about an injury only a handful of people know about isn’t a good look.

I completely agree. I think a fair answer is “If he’s cleared to play, he should play”. However, I wanted to see if a Bills fan could actually admit that is the correct answer since their fanbase seemed to struggle with that concept during the 2020 AFCCG.

Yeah I'm not sure I agree with this.

But then again until they invent a Star Trek instant injury detector I don't think there's a logical solution. It just sucks.
