Has almost 100 rushing yds against the jets and 2 interceptions. Currently down against the jets, but that could change.

Allen reminds me of a prime Cam newton. He's physical and isn't afraid to use his body to take punishment. But I can't help but think he'll have a shorter career like cam as a result of it.

Palmer started the first four games of the 2008 season before suffering damage to a portion of the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in his throwing elbow. Fitzpatrick started at QB for the remainder of the season. Palmer considered surgery, but opted for rest to let it heal.

I didn't remember Carson Palmer's 2008 UCL injury correctly.
I thought he just missed the rest of the year (12 games), but he hurt it week 3, sat out week 4, played week 5 and then he sat every week afterwards.
The team kept him "week to week" all year.

Also pretty much ended the Carson we would know. Never was the same player again.

He 100% was still not the same guy. Airballs.

I remember the Cowboys game being a disaster for him. The stats don’t really show it but I remember watching and he just didn’t look good.

The comparison of Palmer to Allen is lazy.

Palmer tore 75% of his UCL. He said was having trouble hitting receivers 10 yards from him. He said it was like someone was sitting above him and just shooting his passes out of the air. He flew to NY and the doctors told him that he needed surgery but her refused and just let time and scar tissue heal the issue. He had a bad injury - should have had the surgery.

That’s a lot different than the rumors we hear about Allen (minor UCL sprain and he uncorks a 70 yard pass on the money).

"minor" is a murky term that can be massaged to mean whatever you want it to mean

a sprain is a tear, just a lesser tear

the key factor, is playing going to make it WORSE? if so, they are playing with fire

that was in the heat of the game with adrenaline taking over. now he's settled down since the game, things could be different?

Show me him throwing like that in practice. Because WE TOLD YOU ALREADY that it's not uncommon to be able to throw like that IMMEDIATELY after the injury. Daquix you're a lazy troll.
