Tua still has to prove it to me. On a cold, January day with refs who are swallowing their whistles, can he trade blow for blow against Mahomes, Allen or Lamar?
If he does, he'll have earned it. But we've watched many QB's falter when the lights are brightest in Tua's spot.

He has done it at the college level in a national title game. Time will tell for him at the pro level. Right now he's doing very well in the regular season, leading the QBR stat & passer rating stat. Of course it helps that he has played 4 pretty bad defenses in a row (Steelers, Lions, Bears, Browns). They have a 5th one in a row next weekend against the Texans.
