Another twist to that is the fact that if the Chiefs are well ahead, Andy will dial it back and run clock. The offense gets reined in and scores less than it might otherwise. Tl;dr - Because offensive performance is more predictive of success, the Chiefs being at the highest offensive EPA means they’re the best.

I respect your opinion but I disagree. If that was the case, there would be no point in the chart. Just put a list of the top offensive EPA teams and ignore the defensive rankings.

That's especially why he looked all- World last year against us. Once Badger was out, Spags had to stick to vanilla plays .

The Bills have faced a MUCH harder schedule this year than last year. So wouldn’t Dorsey be doing even better than Daboll since he has the same PPG yet a more difficult schedule?
