Did you try clicking on page two to check to see if this 'important' news had already been posted and dismissed as unimportant?

Also - I think s/he meant sifting thru the garbage posts of mega threads to find news worthy posts is tiresome at best

And yes- I have been on/off CP all day I have seen what has/hasn't had a thread started.
