The Fonz went all 12 year old girl meeting Mahomes. He said on Rich Eisen that Mahomes is so good he makes sure we are losing in the 4th quarter so he can challenge himself to pull out the win.

Henry Winkler just comes off as extremely likeable and sincere. And that he's so enamored with Mahomes gives us all something in common with him. Then the fact that Mahomes was awesome about it, to nobody's suprise, just makes for such a fun story.
