ya CEH was such a bad pick. McKinnon and Mahomes seem to be on the same page a lot lately, McKinnon looks to get open when Mahomes is scrambling because he knows Mahomes can sling it to him real quick with a flick of the wrist, smart player and is great for this offense.

The thing that’s nearly impossible to defend with McKinnon is that defenses can either keep eyes on Mahomes to limit his ability to beat you with his legs or you can defend the “McKinnon out of the backfield” with that athletic guy. -But you can’t really do both- Especially when you need to focus resources on limiting Kelce and the speed we have all over the place.

Both backs should be able to feast in the playoffs…but McKinnon should be able to be especially impactful. It’s a beautiful cheat code.

They better not bring CEH back and even make him active on game days.

It's not Andy.

The back in the flats is a huge part of how this offense is drawn up. If the defense is in man, the back should have one guy, usually a LB to beat.

It's Patrick looking downfield and not taking the checkdown when we go long stretches without hitting the backs.

He's the anti-Smith, which is why we love him, but this offense is at it's best when it takes what is schematically there.

McKinnon has earned himself a pay raise and a new contract with the Chiefs. If we could get something for CEH I'd be open to trading him and contract Jones on a 1 year deal. If we can't, it looks like CEH might be relegated to the RB3/ST spot.
