Could Sean Peyton wind up in AZ?

The pressure to fire Kingsbury is sky high. Kyler Murray has talent, no doubt.

If I had to go somewhere as a coach like Peyton, AZ could be a real interesting place.

He could definitely handle Murray as well as anyone.

**** Denver and that mess. Colts ownership too fickle. Dallas possible if they get bounced in 1st game from playoffs, Jerry could toss McCarthy.

Where do you see him going?

This AZ job is pretty appealing, a little better than the Texans, better than the Colts and miles ahead of Deadver

Arizona’s QB situation is a dumpster fire.

Honestly I think the Texans job might be more appealing than AZ, especially if he doesn’t care for Murray who they are still on the hook for. He goes to Houston and he get his pick of QBs in this draft, would have a ton of control over personnel decisions as I imagine the Texans are desperate, and he has a relatively weaker division. Jacksonville is trending up, but I think Tennessee is trending down and Indy is treading water. I think Payton would have a much longer leash than with some other teams.

They're all rushing for that next big name, Harbaugh or Peyton. Probably worse since you have to give a first to the Saints for Peyton, but you see all these teams like the Texans, Cardinals, etc just firing away hoping they'll be the ones chosen. I'd stay away from the Cardinals, it looks like Hopkins doesn't want to be there and he's on the downside of his career, then you got Kyler's ego and injury proned status to deal with. Cardinals really screwed themselves by tying the team to Kyler. I'd rather take the Texans job. I would see Peyton going to the Texans with the cap space, picks they have, you can pick your own QB out of this draft.

Payton is going to a place with:

Excellent ownership
Big time cap space
Full roster control
A franchise QB would be nice, but doubt it's required
A clear path to success.

I would not be surprised at all to see him wait another season.

And Jim Harbaugh is gonna crash and burn, so who cares where he goes.

Peyton is a little over-rated and he doesn't want to stay out of the game too long, alot of older coaches stay out too long and then they get left behind. When they do come back, they're using old schemes, old methods, and getting ran right out of the building in two to three years.

Texans seem like the best place with Colts as the second, as long as you can get in with Ownership and over Casserio's head to make him the one that's fired first if things don't work out.
