I didn’t put him in the same class. I’m pointing to the silliness of acting like you need generational talent to be a great qb. Lawrence also has way better size than Brees, and is a way better runner with way better arm strength than either of these guys. He can be a very good qb with his skill sit just by being an effective processor of the game. You’re like all these scouts getting a hard on for finding the next mahomes as shown by your excuses for Zach Wilson because he threw some incredible passes in shorts. And so we’ve started to view really good QBs who do most things well enough like Trevor as nothing special.

I’d much rather a steady hand that plays well when the pressure is on over a guy like stafford or Herbert who light up the Twitter feeds but mostly can’t find ways to win games

You're way too enamored with the arm talent. That's not the crucial factor.

He's not smart. He's entitled and doesn't take to coaching. And he just flat wilted with adversity. That's not a guy who's going to do anything in this league without becoming a different person.

He doesn't have 'it'.

Lawrence always ticked all of the boxes because of the things that you can't measure. He's been a leader on the field his whole life. He's got the measurables ENOUGH to not have a weakness. And now that he's got a good coach, he's going to be a pain in the ass for the AFC and the NFL in general.

But you can claim all the 'QB guru' shit you want, you just look foolish pumping up Wilson when you just saw Lawrence deal with the worst first quarter in play-off history and then bring his team back to win.
