would throw in brady and russ as well to be completely honest. ignoring the broncos debacle which is a combination of multiple factors russ was generally a 'when the lights are on' kind of player for the hawks. yeah he'd blow a game or two but he also had the ability to pull magic out of his ass pretty often... and brady even at this stage doesn't need much explaining.

Carr is fine. He's not great but he'll go somewhere and be an upgrade on what they had. He's competent.

Cousins is better than him at the same style of play.

There aren't that many guys in the league better at playing QB than he is and it's all relative. He takes more shit than he deserves.
Yeah, the difference between a Mahomes/Burrow/Allen offense looking great and looking like ass is a pretty fine line in itself, much less a "bottom 29" QB... the drop off in execution and consistency doesn't even have to be that great, and your pretty-good QB's offense can look like a dumpster fire.

I'm definitely guilty of that "HoF or sucks"mentality at times, but a game like this helps, where it's been pretty damn solid. There's just sssoooo... much... bad football during the regular season and WC round, after a while it all looks like garbage if one of the top few guys isn't playing.
