Postseason ref watch

According to Football Zebras, Clete is an alternate this weekend, which typically rules them out of divisional weekend.

Notably not among the alternate officials: Carl Cheffers.

Blakeman was tame last time we had him.

Right. The better way to look at it is we would have a 75% chance of not getting Cheffers. I'd take those odds.

Gonna unban him, rename to BlackDerp (or a name TBD) and make his avatar a couple of clown shoes, and then ban him again.

I see people already being pussies about it, saying "wHiChEvEr TeAm ChEfFeRs WaNtS tO wIn!!!"

...complete bullshit. If there's a conspiracy theory, there's only ONE this year, and that's the Bills winning the Super Bowl (considering some thought the dumpster fire Bucs were going to make it, and that's not happening).

Sure, most of the time, you may just believe there are conspiracies, but aren't privy to which team the NFL "wants" to win, so you'll make up the narrative after the fact.... this year though, if the Bengals win, or the Chiefs/Jags beat the Bills, or the Bills lose in the Super Bowl, you're ****ing wrong and can shut the **** up forever.

Even after all this team has proven the last several years, some people still cannot emotionally deal with a loss, and have to make up a conspiracy theory as to why we lost. It was the refs, the league rigged it, Vegas rigged it, it was all EB’s fault… Chiefs have never lost a game fair and square according to this lot

The loser mentality of making up excuses in advance is pathetic. Toddler level fragility.

The fans of a great team have no need behave like this. It’s not like the Chiefs are going to be proven to be frauds if they lose to the Bills in the playoffs finallly. The Chiefs are the league’s most dominant team over the last 5 or so years but we act like the Chiefs are some 9-8 team that just lucked into everything.

Act like you belong here, good lord

Yeah, seems like people take it so personally, they have to excuse it as something completely out of the team's control, because there's just no way the team could ever lose on its own.

It's really okay if they lose, it doesn't look bad on anyone except maybe the players and coaches... and they'll still sleep at night with all of their money.

I miss the days when people just cried about holding calls in order to rationalize losses. Now the entire world is out to get them in grand conspiracies.

Some people have their identity way too wrapped up in a football team.
