Right and I’ve had a couple 2 stroke mercury’s and loved them but I wouldn’t trade this quiet no fuss easily Maintained 4 stroke mercury I have now for anything

Maintenance is the key on any outboard. Run good fuel, winterize and keep the cooling system in working order. The crap they pass for gasoline is hard on anything that sits for more than a couple of weeks.
