Exactly. Defense did its job, and played admirably in certain points and on some key downs. Saying the defense was poor today makes zero sense. They gave up 2 TDs basically to an offense that can score.

Buddy Ryan had a lot of success running the 4-6 with the 84-86 Bears. That doesn't mean the 4-6 is the best defense for our personnel.

What another coach did, in a different era, with several Pro-Bowl caliber players, has absolutely nothing to do with Spags and his scheme.

And I never said that the STs were doing great. Again, for like the 36th time, dipstick, I said that they'd figure it out. The same exact thing i said about the defense, btw. And "SHOCKER," they're figuring it out.

And yeah, maybe I'm a homer, but at least I can look past something as stupid as "season total" stats and understand what's actually happening over the course of the season. Never mind understanding what actually goes on in a zone blitz . . .
