***** The Official Chiefs vs Jags playoff game day thread*****

It's time to finish this comedy of the bills and bungals thinking their better then the chiefs. Time to run it back. This is for Len Dawson. We will crush everyone so our dynasty begins. So let's go out crush that girl qb and then we wait for the next victim. Sorry about your damn luck who ever face these chiefs.

GO CHIEFS!

What another coach did, in a different era, with several Pro-Bowl caliber players, has absolutely nothing to do with Spags and his scheme.

No, dude. The ultimate question is the output. That zone blitz may have failed there but may have given Lawrence a bit more difficulty diagnosing a defense pre-snap later in the game. All about scheme and confusion.

Did the Chiefs defense outperform against the Jags offense relative to expectations? Yes. That takes all sorts of play calls. Complaining about a single one is like bitching about single battle in a war won by the victorious general.

How do you not understand this?

The Karlaftis TD was not supposed to happen. It was a blitz that was supposed to get there quickly meaning Karlaftis would only have to cover for the first 5-10 yards but they didn’t get there and Lawrence spotted the matchup presnap.

Give them credit

I never anticipated having such a soft spot in my heart for Chad Henne… He won me over with his effort to finish off the Browns playoff game a couple years ago and then today again.

Honestly, he’s probably in my top 10 favorite Chiefs ever…as little as we’ve seen him. The guy had me crying at the end of the Browns game. Can’t say that about many others…

Henne is our Bernie Kosar.

A key player in the Cowboys Super Bowl run in 93.

Pederson. He waited for that setup. And they executed that perfectly.

Here it is again except this time it’s Frank dropping into coverage. The difference was the blitz got there quickly and forced the mistake.

God, the difference between Spags designs and Sutton's are orders of magnitude better. They aren't even comparable. Thank God we ditched Sutton and hired Spags.

Gotta go. Some NYG WR just shat himself.
