Well Pollard was carted off with a high ankle sprain today so Mahomes sprain can't be that bad

RB vs QB is the difference.

You saw Mahomes could barely get to the spot to hand the ball off on stretch runs. A RB has zero chance of being effective with that injury.

It will be LP AT BEST on Wed I assure you !!! Maybe Andy plays poker all week and puts DNP on Pat all week? I know that is illegal but everyone breaks that rule and gets away with it.

His ankle will be numbed up to the max and taped up tighter than a kilo of heroin coming across the border on game day. Andy will have short to medium pass plays drawn up but most importantly we better have a run game to compensate for Pat's lack of agility and to keep Burrow on the sideline. Spags better have our run defense ready because they will run to make all 3 of there NO.1 WRs that much more open.

Mahomes was able to stand on the sideline was there any indication that Pollard could? I mean be couldn't even walk to the locker room. There are varying degrees of high ankle sprains.

This game has an entirely different feel to it. It's not about Mahomes magic bailing out everyone. It's everyone stepping up in order to accommodate for less Mahomes magic. We're a wounded animal and wounded animals are dangerous.

Won’t know until he’s diagnosed.

I get what you’re saying. There’s a chance Mahomes’ sprain is the least sever grade possible, but I still think it’s the QB vs RB difference. Mahomes stood on the sidelines because he was waiting to go back in. There was 0% chance Pollard was ever going back in so no need to walk to the locker room or even come back out and stand on the sidelines.

I’m not saying he’s right or wrong. Just that there wasn’t anything malicious in his comment. He played in a different era with different medical treatments and every ankle sprains gonna be different.
