Football Eli Apple makes fun of Hamlin

The Cancun thing is an old NBA joke. If I remember right, the Lakers were down 3-0 in a series and were doing a "1... 2.... 3... Lakers" huddle-break type thing before game 4 and one of the players said "Cancun" at the end instead. To joke that they were about to be eliminated and could go on vacation. Then I think he got cut after the season and the Cancun story came out as a possible reason.

It's been in NBA circles ever since and a year or two ago Pat Bev tweeted "Cancun on 3" to talk shit at Portland. Meaning the same thing, they'd be eliminated soon.

So technically Apple just repeated some NBA shit talk. But throwing that emoji on the end makes it look like a clear shot at Hamlin.
