Let’s talk about the Bengals (AFC Championship Rd)

Welp this game has been on everyone’s minds since the start of the season.

Let’s get some revenge goddamnit!

Watching last year's AFCCG now - 9 minutes left in Q1.

Did we call timeout and then challenge (or is the graphic wrong)? If so that freaking TO cost us 3-7 points at the end of the half.

And of course the shitty spot didn't help. Or the fact that Burton doesn't know how to fall down when he has the first down. Burton falls down, no wasted TO, we probably go to the SB.

Check to a run every time they try to line up with 3DL.

Wear them boys out.

remember now though, they started dropping a guy into coverage at the snap to give the 3-man rush

they disguise that look just enough it's hard to check into a run all the time

chiefs running game is so good right now though, if you get a light box, go get 5 yards

i trust andy to do this now that mahomes ankle is ailing

I really think we'll see the team's best football being played in this game. There is so much motivation for everyone to step up and the team is full of players that want to rise to that occasion. Gonna be epic.

I can’t say it enough, but Clark Hunt is the best owner in the NFL.

He wouldn’t let Andy get out of the building and then went and hired the largest coaching staff in the league so Andy had every resource available to win championships with. He also hired the most sought after GM candidate possible and set up reporting directly to him from both roles and used that separation to fire Dorsey and hire Veach.

He’s ran the team like an owner that wants to win championships and has been willing to make significant investments at every level of the organization to have his team be the flagship team in the NFL.

AFCCG 2021: Ward just completely whiffed on the Bungholes first TD - 35 yard run by Perrine. Man Ward sucks. You could see Jones talking to him after the play. We stop them on that drive we win the game.

I bet Mahomes could have run it in on the first play from the 1 yard line. He was just too fixated on getting rid of the ball quick.

And then ****ing Hill - just run to the pylon, at least you go OOB if you don't get there.

Bengals secondary came out grabbing like crazy the 2nd half, refs refused to call it.

This whole narrative that Mahomes played his worst half ever. So far Hill, Kelce and Pringle have dropped balls. Also on all of them they were either interfered with or held. Dude literally grabbed the back of Pringle's jersey and the refs didn't call it. W/o that Mahomes' pass is right on him.

Ok the INT to the D-lineman was bad. But still that's usually not caught.

Argh 1st and goal at the damn 5. McKinnon almost had it if he didn't get grabbed from behind.

Mahomes was too worried about killing all the time on the clock. Trying to do too much.

The first drive of the second half against the Chargers on the road this year gave me a lot of hope for this game. The Chargers were dropping and daring us to run. We ran it down their throats. Settled for a field goal, but sent a message.

That’s the drive we needed to start the second half in the 2022 AFCCG.

That rams game was about as bad penalty wise as the bucs Super Bowl. Rams were constantly bailed out with drive extending penalties to keep up with the Chiefs offense. Same thing as the SB the bucs were assisted until it became apparent that KC couldn’t keep up with the scoring.
