I like it but will echo the concerns at WR. Subtracting Hardman AND Valdes-Scantling removes an awful lot of speed from the equation, and I don't think KC wants that.
Smith-Schuster and Hopkins are duplicative. I also don't believe Hopkins will play out on his last two years of the current deal. You're signing him to a new, huge deal if you add him.

That thinking might apply to MVS and Mecole, who are lesser WRs, but Hopkins is a star. How difficult can it be for him to learn the offense, pair a star WR with the Goat QB and let them do their thing! See JuJu as an example.
