Let’s talk about the Eagles (Super Bowl edition!)

Well fellas what do we think?

Honestly, is there any chance we see this kind of stuff if the Bills or the Bengals made it to the SB?

I just don't see it.

This is such a true statement. Everyone is sleeping on this defense but they performed well against a solid Jax offense and even better against the Bengals offense.

One would hope, at least had the Bengals made it. This Eagles Dline vs their patchwork OLine would have been such a mismatch.

This is probably going to be the most basic offense the Chiefs have seen in awhile. They do everything they can to protect Hurts from non complicated pass game to running etc..

The Eagles basically think they can put talent you.

Which is exactly why their schedule and easy path in the playoffs is relevant.

This is interesting. They ripped up that shit grass weeks ago and are using something new: Tacoma 31. That’s the grass used by the PGA.

This is the first time that’s happened and a cool experiment. I’d normally be against this but anything other than the shit they had that injured our players is fine by me.

I agree on the secondary.

But counterpoints on pass rush: 1) our opponents are in must-throw situations a lot, 2) Mahomes has been pressured a ton, he's just great at avoiding sacks.

The Patriots went something like 11-47-14 in sacks over three years. You can guess which year was Cassel.

Or as Booger McFarlane put it yesterday on PTI, "Mahomes hasn't played well in the Super Bowl."

Yes the team playing with a lead is not in must-throw situations as much. Not sure what your point is.

No, I'm talking about the Eagles opponents being in "must-throw" situations.
