I'd suspect after last night's solid performance we're interested in brining back JuJu, what do you guys think?

He's going to want a boatload and he has a better chance of someone paying it now. But I still don't think it should be us. Massive props to him and thanks for the SB Juju, go get paid.

How about trade targets in Round 1 of the draft?
Who's worth packaging picks for and moving up to 15-20 range to take us over the top? Q Johnston, if he slips to #15? |

I'd just draft a WR really high again.

Too old to pay that much too. With WR's flooding the league thru the draft every year, just keep going back to the cheap draft young player well.

The only way Hopkins makes any sense is if the Cards dump him for nothing and he takes a massive paycut to win, otherwise it's a no go.

We already have one very interesting acquisition. Will be interesting to see if this coaching staff can turn John Ross’ career around.

lol I'm on the Hopkins bandwagon as well, I think they can squeeze him in to make his current contract work if he's willing to play it out. Keep the same team, minus Hardman and MVS, bring in Hopkins and add 10 or 11 guys in the draft. Perfect offseason. Sure to repeat our SB appearance. There's no bigger impact player within striking distance.
Hopkins JuJu Toney Moore Watson Ross Ross Rookie WR #1 Rookie WR #2 That starting 4 is significantly better than our current starters, we'd have a true outside star deep threat in Hopkins, a big stalwart slot in JuJu, a shifty x-factor gadget guy with Toney, and an ascending Sky Moore to hold down the other slot. Watson is a solid #5 WR, but you also have talents in both the Ross' and plenty of picks to add more depth. Plenty of teams out there with x2 star WRs, currently, and the cap is going up a considerable amount every year. If WRs are the highest value they've ever been and climbing, and in the theoretically scenario I'm posing you're plan is to have two stars, then contracting them in 2023 is likely cheaper than trying to do so in 2024, 25, 26 or later, and Hopkins deal is already a steal in this league relative to recent contracts. There's no better value available within striking distance. Last edited by Couch-Potato; 02-13-2023 at 05:00 PM.. |

Where else you going to find a WR like this: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=deandre+ho...%3DxP3Y7pc4x9M
For less than $20m a year or In the 2nd round or later of this year's draft? |
