Wife’s boss refused her the day off. Debating if I’m making the 3.5 hour drive one way with my 9 year old. It was his first year playing, understanding and enjoying football so I think it would be very special for him this time around.

Just FYI, if you do go to the rally I’m guessing there will be some people in the crowd smoking weed. There were at the last rally, and with it being legal for recreational purchase and even nicer outside, I imagine there will be quite a few people partying hard on the parade route and at the rally. They asked Mayor Q after he made an announcement not to bring alcohol if he thought people would be following that rule and he blatantly just said no and laughed a little about it. Definitely still think it’s an experience you don’t want to miss out on, but just something to be mindful of so you can be ready to answer what that smell is.
