We wear the black hat now, fellas...

I'm disinclined to argue with any of these schmucks over the holding call that was a hold.

The bottom line is that WE have the black hat now. We're the villains. This is the kind of mess we're going to hear about every time this team succeeds.

ENJOY IT! Embrace it. Revel in it and **** the rest of 'em.

"Never forget what you are - wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you."

This is gonna be a blast, fellas. Every bit of annoying talking head bullshit we've seen for 4 years is going to be amplified. Every single time we lose it will be because X quarterback is the best in the league or Y team has finally come to knock the Chiefs off their perch.

This is the role we've always wanted to play so why fight it now that we have it? This is it. When the league folds and the only evidence it ever existed is Profootballreference and a pack of geriatric assholes with giant hogs and goatees on some rusty old website called ChiefsPlanet, the history will be written and this will be the golden age of Chiefs football. Don't apologize for a bit of it.

Because this shit is awesome.

I quickly watched the condensed version last night, and damn, one of his XPs in the 2nd half looked close.

LOL, wasn't there an extra point that went just inside/over the post?

Those are worth 3 points now?

Yeah, it was an XP.

And my butthole absolutely puckered on that one. It was tiiiiiight.

But I think it was clearly good. And if it wasn't, Greg Olsen would've been sure to raise a stink about it...

I know the crew was an Fox crew, but they were so bad you could hear the buzzing from the NFC branded dildos shoved up their asses on live television.

It just frustrates me that the two 'controversies' the last 2 games have been manufactured by the broadcasters.

The roughing flag had people pissed "Because it was a late flag!!!!" and they're claming Mahomes sold it - IT WASN'T A LATE FLAG! Romo didn't see the back judge throw the flag that arced up over the camera view. If you watch it from the rear angle, that back judge throws a flag the absolute instant Mahomes is hit. But Romo missed it and didn't react until the 2nd flag came in, the flag that was seen on the broadcast, suddenly everyone just takes as gospel that the flag came in because Mahomes flopped.

And this week the broadcast crew just showed a bad angle of the hold and then misstated what it was that was called. The bad angle and clip came too late to show the infraction so Olsen focuses on the left hand and goes on and on about a 'soft hold'. Nevermind it was the right hand and it came before the clip y'all initially showed.

By the time they got the clip right, Olsen had dug in like a tick and despite Pereira trying to tell him it was a legit hold and even WHY, Olsen wouldn't budge because he had to double down. Suddenly Olsen had set the narrative.

It just pisses me off when the broadcasters do that.

Those were two controversies that came about 100% because of the broadcasting crew simply getting it wrong.

Yea, from what I remember, it felt like it was going to be really close, but once it went through it was definitely good.

And they played close game after close game down the stretch. Learned how to win tight battles with teams that seemed pretty hapless, but played their asses off because they were going agains the NFL standard bearers.

Won’t ever take any of these seasons for granted.
So true. And the more I watch the more I realize that what the Patriots did is so unlikely to be matched ever. As such it is better to just enjoy each one vs focusing on the chase.

It’s crazy to think of how close KC was to being in and winning 5 SBs in a row. In almost every scenario where they did not win (and even when they did) how one play was the difference between a win and loss. It goes to show that the margin of error is so small and sometimes KC will benefit and sometimes another team will. That’s why each win has to be savored.

Olsen didn't even wait to get a good look at the replay after holding call. He immediately reacted, so he clearly just didn't want a flag thrown regardless of the validity.

Ya’ll thought I was joking when I said there are fans that believe Mahomes took HGH at halftime. These conspiracies are getting more bizarre each day that passes.

Yup. That’s why I was against playing for a FG. I wasn’t comfortable with Butker kicking the game winner.
