Marginal. It runs windowed games better, which is pretty important if you use multiple monitors. It's a bit better with RAM management and SSD reads. From everything I've seen on it, those things are not drastic.

You are using a 12th gen Intel processor, so yes. Windows 11 supports specific support for Intel processors that have individual performance and efficiency cores, like yours. Win11 would absolutely benefit your CPU and improve performance.

I must say, Microcenter does a terrible job when it comes to building a computer. They didnt even take the parts out of the boxes.

looks like i can get a used 2080 Ti for about the same price and it performs better

I can't seem to type complete sentences today so here's an edit...

Benchmarks seem to agree but I have a hard time buying used shit and the true performance difference versus cost of new wouldn't put me on board. We're talking 1/3 the price for the 3070 versus the 2080Ti at the expense of gains in areas that may not have an extreme effect on your experience unless you're playing multiplayer games with complex textures and particles (I don't see many of those).

windows booting up in 10 seconds is uh, nice

if you get a 990 pro update the firmware...i had to create a bootable usb drive
