If we got Hardman back, that could allow Veach to sign a mid-level WR2, like Thielen. It probably could work, as long as Hardman stays healthy. Without Hardman, I don't think another mid-tier WR2 will work.

Well, when you win two or three games this year, your replacement in 2024 will enjoy the early draft picks.

That ownership has been really fast to pull the plug in the past. I don't know why I'd think they'd be patient now.

I'd definitely take a 3rd if that's the best I can get, That team has a lot of needs and isn't ready to compete right now. They've lose the few good defensive players that they had. They need all the help they can get on that side of the ball.

They're paying out the last group they just fired and just hired a new group, and have a QB on a big contract who won't play much this year coming off the ACL.

It's the absolute definition of a rebuild. Hence, trade everything of value that's not bolted down.

I've been saying all offseason that I think it'd be in his best interest to sign a one year, incentive laden deal to come back. Put up some numbers and try again for a bag next year.

I'm asking what in their past behavior and decision-making makes you think the Arizona ownership is logical? They were expecting to contend in '22. You think they're going to accept tanking?

It's a shit ownership group, who outside of 1 or 2 years have never been successful.

Their starting qb tore his ACL late in 22. They don't have much of a choice, theyr'e gonna be terrible.

Reality sucks sometimes but Murray likely won't play much of next season, it's a tank year.

Maybe they'll really go hard and draft Caleb Williams while selling Murray off.

Ok, well, this is what I mean when I say I think you guys are being blinded by what you WANT to the detriment of seeing what IS.

I mean, you could be right, but I've never seen that ownership do anything that was patient and measured basically EVER. I mean, they're like the anti-Chiefs.

I seriously doubt Hopkins goes for a 4.

Maybe you're right, we'll see. I find that highly suspect. I could be wrong, who knows?
