I dont know if it was really a "choke", but it was / is typical Calipari. Just like at U Mass and especially at Memphis. He's nothing without a lot of elite talent.

Since John Calipari has been at Kentucky, only 1 coach has won more titles than him (Wright) and no coach has made more Final Fours.

When was the last time the Sweet 16 didn’t have KU UK UNC or Duke in it? Had to be a while I’d think?

I will say that at least UK actually made the tourney this year. That’s been a rarity for Cal in recent years.
