Taken from the other thread, mocks always end up being pretty far off and a few teams do things out of left field.

Lets call some shots here of things that will happen that are unexpected.

I'll start, Keion White goes in the 1st round, I think it could be as early as 15 to Green Bay.

Anthony Richardson doesn't go in the first round. I'm probably wrong. But I can't get past his 55% completion percentage. That just doesn't scream first round pick to me. But mocks have him going top ten. We'll see.

You're probably right. And I will be sitting at home, shaking my head, and laughing at the team that wastes a top 10 pick on a quarterback that is certain to bust. But, then again, I'm not sold on any of the top quarterbacks this year. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were all disappointing at the NFL level. Kinda like 2018. Mayfield, Allen, Darnold, and Rosen were all picked in the top 10. I didn't really like any of them either, but I thought that Allen had potential if he could get his accuracy improved. Which he did, and he's worked out. The rest are busts. This class gives me similar vibes.

The thing about that, though...

Allen is the one of those 4 that actually continued to develop, primarily because the Bills were able to harness his raw physical talent and mold it.

If anybody in this class is on an Allen track, it's Richardson IMO.

Allen is the exception though. Usually when a QB is inaccurate in college they stay inaccurate in the NFL.

Even though Allen's accuracy has improved his ball placement is still pretty suspect.

Agreed.

Don't draft a guy expecting him to do what Josh Allen did. It's just awfully damn rare.

That's not to say that Richardson doesn't have some unicorn traits that might allow you to gameplan a little more AROUND his inconsistent accuracy, but you absolutely cannot draft him expecting him to be precise.
