With Singer, I think we'll see it's one of a few things:

1) Weird spring training has him off schedule (his velocity being down would coincide with the "dead arm" period most guys work through in Spring Training
2) He wasn't that good
3) The pitching coaching hasn't been as effective with him as the previous staff
4) He's injured (which would probably related to (1))

Time will tell.
