Albert Breer first and only mock

https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/04/26/nf...e000279b&pid=2

Quote:

Kansas City Chiefs: Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma
Harrison’s a true left tackle, and would give the Chiefs the flexibility to either put Jawaan Taylor back at right tackle, where he played in Jacksonville, or move Harrison there. Either way, getting Harrison here (I think he could go in the teens) would be a steal for the Chiefs. Kansas City’s fished around on a trade up, and I think it’d be with Flowers or Gibbs as a target. If those guys aren’t there for K.C., I’d see Harrison in a group with Michigan DT Mazi Smith and Tennessee WR Jalin Hyatt to be considered at No. 31.

I agree with everything he said. Which is the same thing many here have said for several days/weeks.

If Harrison can play LT and teams see it that way....I don't see a chance in hell he falls to 31.

Yeah, the lack of helium around Harrison makes me think I'm missing something.

I really don't get it. He sure as hell looks like a guy who should be a top 20 pick in MOST drafts. Let alone one that seems to lack true blue-chip talent at the top.

It's weird.

He'll be one of those guys that goes well before our pick and everyone will be disappointed that he didn't fall like we thought he would.

Not sure about the Lions and Bijan. Dont they have Montgomery being paid pretty handsomely and Swift? Id take this as a chiefs fan all day though.

Not necessarily. Here's two reasons why he could make it all the way to 31.

1. A project. You're not gonna put him out on an island Day 1 unless you're ok with him being beat like a drum for awhile.

2. Not a good run blocker. That matters to a lot of teams.

He would be a very clear Day 2 kind of player if this draft wasn't so shitty at the top.

If teams think he can be a good pass blocking LT......he's not falling. It's a passing league, if the guy can excel at that, he's gonna go early.

I don't see how he's a project? He played LT at OU and is being talked about as the next best athletic T from OU. If he falls to 31 I'd guess it's because teams don't think he's a LT at the next level.

Right.

When he goes 21 to TB we're gonna get a lot of swearing on this board and ultimately it should be REALLY predicatable.

He's a perfect fit for them there with a premier RT in Wirfs. I mean even if TB likes Goedeke, they'd be converting Wirfs to LT to make Goedeke work.

They'll just take Harrison, plug him in at LT and be quite pleased.

The closer we get, the more I think it's going to be a WR that falls into our lap as opposed to OT or EDGE.

Starting to think both Buffalo and Cincinnati go DL.

I used to think Buffalo was taking a LB but now I think it's a defensive tackle. They have no one under contract next year.
