The Mahomes-Flowers connection would be ‘trouble’ for the league.

Zay Flowers says he hasn’t had many conversations with the Chiefs, but after working out with Patrick Mahomes, he said, “As soon as the first ball come out, I was like, if I could get with him, it would be a lot of trouble in the league.”

Listened to Charlie Wise and Bob Papa do 2 mock drafts this morning. In both mocks, Flowers was the Chiefs pick at 31. Let's hope that they're right.

Not the same thing. This offense is already great. This argument that any player can join the offense and create "trouble for the league" makes it sound like the offense won't punt the rest of the season or like they're lacking.

Wasn't winning the Super Bowl last year trouble enough for the league?

The talk with CEH was that with Mahomes/Kelce/Hill, adding a RB that can catch out of the backfield was the only thing missing.

"They" also correctly called Mahomes over Watson.

"They" also said Karlaftis was a great pick.

"They" also said McDuffie is a premiere CB.

"They" also said the Chiefs should've drafted DK over Hardman.

"They" were also very high on Willie Gay's athletic upside.

"They" were also very high on Nick Bolton.

"They" also called Creed the best C in the draft.

"They" also called Trey Smith a great value pick.

"They" also said JJSS wouldn't be retained.

......i mean we can do this all day.

Not sure why the Chiefs Planet Scouting Department is all under fire the day before the draft from some of ya'll.

Right…he was gonna be our Marshall Faulk…and then it never came to be. Chiefs will likely go defense and I’m thinking all this chatter about these WRs is just that. Although, I do wonder if the Chiefs could be after a TE like Musgrave to groom as Kelce’s replacement. Can’t wait to find out!

I tend to agree. KC already has several smaller WRs on the roster. The need is for a prototypical WR; 6+ ft tall, 210-lbs., etc. And no, MVS isn't what I'm talking about.

Honestly is there any WR in the league who would not love to play with Mahomes?
