*****2023 NFL DRAFT THREAD - NO SPOILERS*****

Version 2023 - PATRICK MAHOMES & THE HUNT FOR THE MIDDLE FINGER RING

Let's ****ing do this.

Quote:
Rules for once the draft begins:
  1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's So and So to Green Bay) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").
  2. Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

Here are our picks:

Round 1, #31: Felix Anudike-Uzomah
Round 2, #55: Rashee Rice
Round 3, #92: Wanya Morris
Round 4, #119: Chamarri Conner
Round 5, #166: BJ Thompson
Round 6, #194: Keondre Coburn
Round 7, #250: Nic Jones

Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

The BBQ comment was just a throw away remark....it's much the same sentiment I express to the locals when they try to compare what passes for BBQ here in Florida.

Just found his remarks about that game silly

Combine hero Kuntz? He'll go before us I bet, someone will take a shot on that. I'd say DT is the pick because it's the real glaring need, but if Ojomo, Coburn, Roy are gone I might hold off and just swing later. Particularly if there are better guys left at other non-premium positions. If there's a half-decent DT, grab them, UNLESS the BPA is obviously significantly better - there's a few CBs and a couple of safeties and WRs I might take before an OK DT

There really isn’t anything to discuss, he was being an attention whoring douche. I mean yeah, if you’re there in person you boo him out of principal, but otherwise, why give him the time of day that he’s obviously seeking?

Has anybody noticed the resemblance Gray is showing of Kelce. He's made several catches last year that I thought it was Kelce initially. Just the way he catches with his hands and body movement. I think he just needs opportunity to show out.

If I'm honest I really, really don't get the Gray hype. I think he's been perfectly solid for a 5th rounder but nothing more. Would love him to break out and to be honest I could possibly see it given TEs take time...but there's just nothing he has or does that makes me see it.

He has had very limited opportunity. PM has lots of other weapons. He may get more this season. He looks good to me.

Well, he plays on a team with Travis Kelce.

even in the multiple TE sets, he's not going to get the first look with a hall of famer across from him.

When he IS targeted, he looks just fine to me.

Agree! Gray is a guy another team may jump on when he is a free agent.

Yeah, I think it's that they're not sure what to do with him.

I see him as a guy that could play DE on first down, kick inside and be a terror on passing downs. He's just way too quick for OG's.

You're betting on athletics if you take him, he doesn't have a true spot so that tweenerness is killing him.

I'm a big fan of Corey Trice if you want a CB, he's a big CB that has a lot of talent and is just a hard ass, he'd give bigger WRs like Mike Williams some issues.
