Yeah, I was thinking the voting had to have taken place early or midseason.

Do you rank them specifically based on the season in play? Do you rank them at all based on past performance? Do you include a natural progression or future prediction at all?

I don’t think everyone is on the same page when it comes to criteria.

I think it's supposed to be strictly based on the year in question, so 2022. No past/future allowance.
