Can't believe the regular season starts tonight. Just seemed like the Finals ended a couple weeks ago.

The fact that nobody else gives LeBron respect here despite being the greatest of all time at basketball (and one of the greatest athletes of all time period) might be the oddest thing of all.

It reminds me of those who nonsensically looked for ways for years to say anybody was better than Patrick Mahomes. Sometimes you just have to admit unmatched greatness when you see it and stop taking guys of this quality for granted.

I know you hate LeBron but Jokic is a legitimate basketball genius. Fascinating player to watch despite his poor athleticism. Not sure why you can’t root for him.

I'm rooting for story lines so seeing LeBron winning #5 and having all the Kobe ballwashers off themselves would be cool to see. Might as well make it against Boston as well. Lakers vs Celtics is always a good time.

Boston is the favorite at this point and would be in such a series but I’d love to see it.

It's hilarious how many times you have to say he's the greatest of all-time. It's almost as if you're overcompensating due to insecurities (ironically just like Lebron).

Also, nobody gives Lebron respect?

I absolutely despise the guy on and off the court, and I still have said multiple times that he's the second best player I've ever seen. I'm not the only one either.

I'll be honest and say that I've watched very few nuggets games. As a general rule of thumb, I just don't get excited about watching centers. I'll be passively rooting for him to knock off lebron and the Lakers, just doubt I'll be tuning in for any of the games.

I want no part of LeBron in the finals and the media ****ery that would ensue. Jokic winning with that crew of bumble****s would be the compelling story.

That being said, LeBron's physical abilities at his age and mileage is truly amazing, regardless of what you think of the dude or the player.

Well I’m not talking about you then, am I? I’m talking about the people in this thread who have seriously compared guys like Kobe, KD, and Curry over the years (and yes, even this year) to him as if they are anywhere close to his level. It is silly. If LeBron isn’t the GOAT (which he is), the only possible counter argument is MJ because of his peak. There are no other contenders.
