So, of the 10 Royals who had at least 10 innings pitched last year and this year, *eight* have improved their K-BB%. Four of them have an improvement of 12% or more.

That’s a pretty consistent improvement and mirrors what’s happening in the minor leagues.

In today’s bullpen game, the #Royals are wanting 1-2 innings from Carlos Hernández as the opener. Mike Mayers is considered the bulk pitcher. Jackson Kowar could also provide 2-3 innings.
