I like him as a Y or backup Z.

He's a pretty conventional receiver, for lack of a better way of putting it. I don't see anything truly standout or any niche strength - just a solid, well-rounded player.

Maclin ran a 4.45 at the combine and Marsette was evidently a 4.43.

Maclin was more smooth than he was lightning fast. Maclin played way faster than he timed because he didn't lose any speed when he cut.

The profiles aren't terribly dissimilar.

Wow, didn't realize that. Always thought he was more of a burner while at Mizzou, but clearly my memory is incorrect.
