Shelton and Bush are not subject to waivers and odds are the Chiefs would like to give them vet practice squad spots...Shelton had one of those spots last year.

Bush was competing for that last DB spot odds are they gave it to one of the young guys.

The Arrowhead Pride guys predicted Shelton and a few others might be surprise cuts, but then come back, since they're not subject to waivers.

I don't know if they have anyone to put on IR to bring back during the season but Blake Bell could be cut for that same reason and brought back, guys who aren't subject to waivers certainly helps.

Good point. I think Sneed is IR and Jones exempt. That opens two slots?

Not sure about a 6th for Farrell but I do vaguely remember thinking he was a good draft pick for the Raiders so who knows. Just not sure he's better than a slimmed down Shelton. If Wharton is IR and Shelton comes back I'm good but Nnadi just cannot be part of the equation. Just a complete liability. Still, bolstering DT seems a good move overall

Damn. Really thought Shelton would make it this time. Seemed like he had a pretty good preseason. Thought he played better than Nnadi for sure.
