The only way 1st round picks don't play the initial 4 years with the team that picked them is if they are complete idiots with off field problems...if you run down the list there's basically none that were released for bad play.

It's way more the Jeff Gladney and Isiah Wilsons of the world who were just idiots off the field.

Watching them try to run outside zone with him is one of the most painful things I've experienced as a football fan.

I once ran a reverse in high school - nothing but green grass for miles it seemed. And suddenly as I took the football the sideline somehow managed to get further and further away. I ran for days and just. couldn't. get. the. corner....

As it turns out, I'm ****ing SLOW. Managed to turn a play that should've been a housecall into like a 7 yard gain. My parents almost certainly died a little inside as they watched an entire football field converge on my slow ass because they realized right then that I was just so very, very bad.

That's the feeling I have anytime I watch MEH carry the football.
