But do I want a half assed, half hearted Chris Jones who's gonna be dogging it all this season? **** no. There's the door CJ. Kindly get the **** out.
What? These two situations are not the same. KC moved the ball at will against the Eagles in the second half and there’s no telling whether they would have continued that, Toney punt return or not.

Cincinnati was staring at a 3rd and 8 with the real possibility of being able to pick up those yards on two plays. They had already converted a 3rd and 16 earlier in the drive. The Jones sack took a makeable 3rd and 8 into a must punt situation which led to the Moore PR and Mahomes scramble.

Regardless of what people think of Jones and his holdout right now, that one play altered everything and credit where credit is due for that sack by Jones.

This seems to contradict everything we have heard about this whole situation. Does he want almost Donald money? If so Nick is wrong. If Nick is correct it would appear that the Jones camp is not negotiating in good faith.

Nobody should question that he helped win 2 Superbowls and of course that game against the Bengals was awesome.

But he really sounded like he loved KC, said he wouldn't play for anyone else and then he does this on the final year of his contract. You hate to see it.

yeah but what's he going to do, sit out those games too? the way the cba is structured that's even worse for him and kills the value he'd get out of a contract somewhere else

You Americans are far too understanding of players holding out. In football (soccer to you) if a player refuses to play they are treated as pond life by the fans and they will 99% of the time never play for the club again and will be subject to endless abuse for being a money grabbing wanker. And because of the mindset I have I actually don't want to ever see Chris Jones play for us again. Putting his paycheck and his ego first to the detriment of the team?

**** him.

Thanks for the memories but off you **** mate.

Forget Jones, we got Mahomes.

Who are you calling understanding? I’ll have you know we Americans are mostly driven by rage and and a complete lack of empathy. I wish Chris Jones nothing but negative things in his holdout. I hope he trips over his massive anaconda while running down his stairs! He’s a total jerk!!

See, like that.

Does your opinion of the players change if they start writhing in pain on the ground because somebody breathed on them?

Waiting for the big game saving sack but Jones. But it doesn't exist. His amazing 2 tackles were great though.

So he just feels he's not being paid what he's worth. He doesn't want the actual money but just the image that his value is x per year. I understand then why he has no problem not playing and making nothing. I don't agree and think he should honor his current contract but at least he's not braindead. He's just dishonest and disloyal.

Get to work for the amount YOU agreed to several years ago and then walk next season. The fans aren't with you and doubt the players are either.

We can all hate Chris Jones endlessly going forward without needing to diminish his very, very important and meaningful contributions from the past.

Yes clearly you’re correct. No way they’d pay a guy 27.5 million a year they felt that way about

True enough. I'm just finding ways to down play those accomplishments because I'm frustrated.

The nfl world will always be different because contracts aren’t guaranteed. Teams can renege on a contract at any time and it’s considered good business, not disloyal. In exchange players have more leverage to hold out if they’re being underpaid.

That being said I don’t like what jones is doing at all. But all will be forgiven if he shows up.
