Two days before kickoff... you have to think 87 doesn't play. As much as I want to celebrate banner night with an ass kicking of the Lions, keeping 87 healthy is infinitely more important. It's an NFC team too so a loss wouldn't even be an issue for tiebreaker purposes.

If the knee swells at all you hold him out and give him 12 days off of it with rehab

And it will just add to the legacy when PMII throws for 350/4 in the home opener without 87
