He was asked if he feels he let the team down?

"How? That's what I gotta answer. How have I let them down? It's just like when you're at a job and you ask for an extension, right, and you ask for a raise, right? You're not letting anyone down. Who are you letting down for asking your boss for a raise, right? So when you take the personal feelings out of it, all I'm doing is asking for a raise."

Good news is our hardest games are later in the year when Chris will be back. Jets and Jags are games he may miss early but we get extra time to prepare for the Jags

Except someone else has to do your job for you in your absence. Spags has to tinker with the defense in your absence. Injured players say they feel like they're letting their teammates down all the time. But tell yourself whatever you need to so you can sleep at night...on your matreess stuffed with millions.
